Out of curiosity, what mouthpiece do you use? I sorta agree with your comments, but I know that I tried a ton of mouthpieces before I settled on what I use now (I guess I'm lucky that I did most of the "testing" in the late 70's when mouthpieces were a WHOLE lot cheaper than they are now). I still try different mouthpieces at conventions and stuff, but I always come back to my Conns.
