First off I am a euph player, I don't know if its different. So, me and this trumpet player got into a big argument about how to lip trill correctly. All my life I have been taught to use air, and air, and nothing but the air. This trumpet player comes at me with,"you should use ta-ee-ah-ee-ah." I tried it sure enough, and the ta-ee method destroys your sound completely, when on the "ee" syllable. So, which is right, air and strong chops, or that weird ta-ee-ah-ee-ah? Any feedback is appreciated.
