Seems like the exterior isn't anything extreme. Will you be cutting a prototype? Do you have access to a SLA/R (stereo-lithography) machine? Although these won't give you good class "A" surface, you could actually try out your design with a little hand clean-up. I also notice you are using Pro-E. I used that a while back, but we stopped using it, as we couldn't get satisfactory tangency. In what I do, it's not enough to get math tangency, the surface can't show changes in direction. From the rim through the interior is where this could effect you. Angle of approach to tangency will effect effiency and turbulance (thus, in your case, responce).
