I recently purchesed a RMCCC. I wasn't able to play a Conn first, but between the 2145 and the RMCCC, for me, the Rudy responded MUCH nicer and had a much better/more even sound though out the ranges. It was the hands down winner. I also had the luxury of having three RMCCCs from which to choose. They all played very similarly. I would have bought any one of them.
