The mouthpiece I liked on the Yamaha 822 F was the one that came with it (The Yamaha 67c4). Also, the 67B4 is nice on this horn. Obviously there is a world of choices out there, and my preferences are just that... my preferences. In general, however, I have found that on larger F tubas a relatively wide, but shallow mouthpiece works best. In the case of Yamaha F tubas, the ones that come with them are a pretty good match.
