actually, it's only about 40 minutes to b'town from columbus. IU's opera "Jeppe" is also going up friday and saturday. it's a new work by a faculty composer and has TWO TUBAS in the pit.
Of course, the Columbus SO is a fine group and you could hear one of IU's top tubists, Tony Halloin.
