In my playing experience, I have found that the horn DOES make a difference. I started on a Kalison DS and it was fine for me when I was younger. When I got to college, I found that it limited me in MANY ways. Intonation was bad and the overall sound of the horn was not suitable to me anymore. When I got my Willson 3050S, it cleared up a lot of problems, but not all of them. Just my thoughts...
