(owns all sorts of cimbassi, ophicleides, etc. - has played with Israel Phil., including that famous televised concert quite a few years back)
...who bought one of those "Kaiser euphonium" bells, yanked the bell off of his Mirafone 184-CC, also yanked off the mouthpipe and replaced it with a curly-que longer mouthpipe (to make up for the bell's shortness) and used that tuba for an ultra-compact "mountain-climbing" (mounted on his back) tuba.
Yeah, he's a bit different, but a great guy.
