Find a completely ruined Mirafone 186 or YBB-321 bell, etc. (some big 4/4 "school quality" tuba ruined bell with a bunch of tears, spider cracks, patches, heavily buffed flair, etc.)

You'll need to find someone to:

- unsolder the flair from the big bell elbow
- unsolder the bell elbow from the male collar.
- dent machine (iron out) all of the dents and creases from the "ruined" upright bell, also leaving it perfectly "round".
- VERY carefully mark and cut the bell throat to fit 1/ the male collar at the small end and 2/ (more tricky) the bell flair at the large end.
- fit everything up, solder both ends of the bell throat where they belong, polish/lacquer to whatever level you desire
