All Carmex does is kill the skin cells on the outside of your lips, causing new skin to grow in it's place. If you use it regularly, you'll get into a cycle of continuously chapped lips. Blistex DCT (Daily Conditioning Treatment) isn't going to put you in bad shape. It's probably one of the only easliy found lip treatments that actually does work. I have heard that Preparation H works well in severe cases, but I wouldn't want to put butt-cream on my lips.
