I could be wrong, but I believe that Fred Geib was not interested in Helleberg mouthpieces. I have two old Conn Geibs and one mouthpiece made by Geib himself; they are very similar to each other and very different from Hellebergs. The Geibs have big, deep cups, narrow rims, and throats that are a bit smaller than Hellebergs.
