I just made a trip to the Brasswind in South Bend, IN this weekend. It's about an 8-hour trip from where I am in Bowling Green, KY. I was VERY impressed with the store! Roger Lewis was EXTREMELY helpful, and eventhough he was very busy, he still managed to make time with me and help me in selecting an instrument and gig bag. I played on the best Yamaha 642 I've ever played on. It was fresh out of the plastic and this particular batch of them were quite good. I would recommend anyone who wants to have a professional help them select the perfect instrument for them to visit the Brasswind and Roger Lewis in South Bend. It's quite a drive (especially when the weather is horrible like it was this weekend) but well worth the trip. Thanks to Roger and the Brasswind for making my trip one to remember! I hope that I can visit you guys in the future!
