The "pro" level 3+1 Yamaha euph is the since 6 or 7 years discontinued YEB 621.

I have tried a such one at a band rehearsak, where my regular instrument was the comp YEB 641.

The 621 was as well made at the 641. It even had the very practical feature of the main tuning slide being placed on the front, so that one does rise in pitch due to a prominent Mount Frontal.

I prefer comp euphs, but the lack of comping on the 621 was not, what made me even more happy with the 641. The smaller bore and the lesser weight of the 621 makes it a much lighter sounding intrument than the 641.

Not that this denigrates the 621. It is just an instrument very different from the 641.
