Michigan. It's the best wind conducting program there is, according to most analysts, and the tuba studio is freakishly good. Apparently the transition from Reynolds to Haithcock has gone very well, and while they are different styles of conductors, Haitcock is really doing well with his own devices. I have a friend finishing up his euph MM with the intention of going into conducting eventually, and he's had mucho opportunities on both ends. Also, the academic component isn't to heavy up there, so there's plenty of time for practicing.

good luck
