Need to find a hardcase for my late 1930's Cerveny BBb sousaphone. Won't fit the SKB case I have and I'm touring Europe in March. It's 4 rotary valves and the biggest bell I've yet encountered, though probably Conn sized, but the crook of the bell section appears to be longer than US horns and there's the rub. Lots of trains and old country elevators on this trip, so an ATA box isn't going to work. Wheels a plus.
Additionally, anybody had difficulty getting a sousa case past the ticket counter now that we're on code Yellow? They about flipped when my YBB621 case wouldn't fit in the Xray machine. Nobody will tell me anything at the airlines.
