I've been using my Ultrabreathe for about 10 months now, and I vary mine up. I like to have resistance on both ends to be honest. It makes your lungs more powerful when blowing through resistance. When you put the instrument to your face and use the same "force" outward, your sound just opens right up and it's easier to play. Just experiment with it and find what's the most comfortable and produces the best results for you.
