I would only add this: one of the true aspects of the Art of building organs is the ability to design an instrument, in both the kinds of stops and their voicing, for the room in which the organ will reside. To me, there's nothing worse than an acoustically bad room with an instrument that should be in a stone cathedral......
The really great bass stops aren't really even heard - they are felt in your gut!
