IMHO, the YFB-621 is more of a "real" F tuba than the MW 182. Although the 182 is an interesting and fun horn to play, it is the smallest tuba I have ever seen or played; the thing is tiny! I'm really not sure when you would need a tuba that small; you probably wouldn't want to use it in ensemble. The YFB-621, IMHO, is just a more capable tuba for dynamic contrast, coloring, etc. To answer your exact question, the YFB-621 (IMHO) also has a better low register. That's not to say that the MW doesn't; I think both tubas play fine, but of the two, the YFB-621 is probably most practical, and economical in the long run. I hope this helps!
