If you play a Bach 18 you will probably notice very little adjustment necessary when playing an MF2. The MF2 is a heavier mpc with just a bit more volume in the cup. It especially handles the lower register well. So far I have noticed no disadvantage in the higher register. I play a Bach 18 on my 20J and like it, but, I just got an MF2 and think it will become my 1st choice.
By the way, Mike Finn is a great guy to deal with.
The original poster mentioned a Bach 22. The Bach 18 is just a bit larger in diameter and, in my case, easier to get to the bottom with. The cup seems otherwise very similar to the Bach 18. But I also like the Bach 22. Its a nice compromise between the 18 I use now and the 24W I used some years ago.
