Like the other guys have said.......relax. I just recently attended a masterclass that Mr. Sheridan gave at Western Michigan (was in the neighborhood that day) and all I can say is WOW! What a great teacher! Keep in mind that he, too, is human and he's just a guy who happens to play the tuba and made the most important investment in his playing--time. He also happens to be extremely intelligent and has a natural talent for working with students! Just relax and be prepared to try some new things.
A few years ago, I attended my first masterclass with Roger Bobo. Boy, was I shaking in my boots to be sitting next to him. But after a few minutes, I relaxed and just did what I was there to do--make music!
Good luck and I hope you really enjoy the class! Mr. Sheridan is really fantastic....and a hell of funny guy!
