I switched from a Conn Helleburg to a Dillon M1C about two years ago, and thought that was an improvement with my Rudy Meinl 5/4 CC. I recently switched from the Dillon to a Laskey 30H with the E shank and like it even better. If you are using a Helleburg style MP (i.e. more funnel shaped), and are interested in switching you may not like the 30G, which is more bowl shaped. The 30G is an excellent MP, but a different concept from the 30H.
I also use a Cooley Helleburg with the CC, and like it a lot, too. You may be interested in trying one instead of the 7B.
