I am also working on that one myself. One of the U of M students performed it at their octubafest and I was late getting there and missed it. I do have an email from Professor Kaenzig offering advice with this piece. The problem I am having is getting good breaths. I get winded on the second page and run out of air. Prof K. Suggested that it needs to be taken at close to the tempo listed and he said to use the Rubato to your advantage to get breaths. I didn't really see any Rubato's written in so I think he meant to add them in to make it more musical and also help with breathing.
