Generally, on these tubas the 5th valve has the smallest bore, which is .669".

The *next valve, #1 is another size, and #2, #3, and #4 all continue to get larger.

By the time a B&S "Symphonie" F tuba reaches the 2nd or 3rd valve, there is no difference between it and a "Perantucci" model - accepting the "Symphonie" model's superior playing characteristics.
