I am a proud owner of one, courtesy of Lee Stofer in Atlanta. First thing I did was throw that sucker about 20 feet in the air to see if it lived up to its name, and sure enough, it did! No cracks or dings; bounced just like a basketball when it landed :-) I took it out on a chilly night in Germany this past Christmas and did a dixieland gig with it. Worked outstanding and didn't freeze up (now, the pistons on my tuba were another story...). Highly recommend everyone have at least one in their inventory.
