I just wanted to chime in a bit late on the NYP discussions. After two & a half seasons, thousands of rehearsals, and almost 500 concerts with them, I must say I have come to love this orchestra and my colleagues. It's been a hell of a ride. Lots of rep., lots of experimenting with horns, and lots of friends. I met Al, and I wish him the best of times with this great organization. I will be continuing full time(Al comes about once a month)up until the 3rd week in June. Mahler 3 on the radio on June 16 will be my last concert. So tune in!
