I use the new King for everything. The 5J is eerily in tune (although I have NO complaints with my King), but the core of sound ain't enough in every situation. Played a trombone-banjo-tuba trio gig tonight with it - a breeze. The 5J would have done well, also, but I couldn't take it into the orchestra I play in and keep up with the trombones. Just not enough "pop".
