Isn't that what Willson plates their trombone slides with?
While the "blow" of the Willson Bass T-Bone wasn't what I thought was all that great, the slide was amazing! Basically the feel of wet ice against wet ice. If they could get the horn to actually lighten up a bit and speak a bit easier, Willson dealers should have no problem selling those things.
I wonder if they could do it on valve sections?
That stuff is super slick and super tough.
A whole horn would be a bit expensive it seems.
