The PT-48 rim seems pretty similar to a 2N132 Doug Elliott rim. The backbore seems about like a 4, and the cup is about as open as a T cup but shallower like an R cup. It has a bit of a bowl shape that none of Doug's mouthpieces have (or had). My 2N132/T6 is definitely deeper and has a bigger backbore than a PT-48, but the 2N132/R4, though it has similar looking dimensions, is more slender and funnel-shaped. It doesn't put the edge in the sound the way the PT-48 does, and provides a rounder, more Hellebergish tone.
