I think if it is between the kalison and the PT4 you should go with the PT. I have played the PT4's and PT3's and both are good. I actually like the PT 3 better. If you are dead set on piston valves you might also look at the Miraphone 1295 or 1290, it is the only piston valve CC they make. I have played on several of those and they are great, and it could be much more affordable that the perantucci
