After all these years, I finally performed in an orchestra concert where Ginastera's "Danza Finale"...from "Four Dances from Estancia" was performed.
Yeah, we've all played this piece in concert bands when we were in school...quite a showpiece.
What surprised me was, with all that brass writing..."rips" and such...not only is there no tuba, but there are no trombone parts!
