I remember reading something years ago about Prokofiev and/or Tchaikovsky contemplating composing tuba concertos, I cant remember if it was a rumor or if there was any fact associated with this. Can anyone lend a hand and point me in the right direction? Being there is some volidity to this "rumor" I would be interested in learning more. Thanks!
