I've reached a point where if I'm watching the news and they start interviewing a basketball player I just shut it off. I so violently disagree with where our culture is headed, that I can't even watch it any more. Anybody have suggestions of where a soon-to-be-retired musician can go live and enjoy it? I shut off the radio too....our classical station seems to find it necessary to have someone with a British accent come on and talk about war and pestilence several times a day; I'll be driving down the road, realize I'm starting to feel just awful, and then notice that the nice music has switched to "reporting" about war and pestilence. I think I'm on my way to being a recluse.
