The TU-12H was the very tuner that I was referring to in my first post...
- considerably higher cost (c. $60 vs. c. $20)
- couldn't seem to effectively "hear" my very low range
- ate batteries (one $3 alkaline 9V every few months vs. two $1 alkaline AAA every few years)
- somewhat larger size...difficult to fit into the small compartment in my case w/mpc. & oil
I'm glad you've had good luck and good service with yours, though!
I think I still might have a couple of those TU-12H somewhere, if anyone wants to buy them.
