Raleigh, Cary, Durham and Chapel Hill all have community bands. I'm in the band in Durham, and we practise on Thursday nights. I like it a lot. The conductor is very good and the music selection is interesting. The Chapel Hill Village Band practises on Monday nights. I hear very good things about the group and their conductor.
