I'm looking for some info on Bach mouthpieces. I know the 7 is the largest they make, followed by the 12. The 18 is very popular among beginners and schools and the 24AW seems to be an anomally in the line. Is it bigger or smaller than the 18? I'm looking for an everyday type of mouthpiece and the 12 pretty much fits the bill - it's got a great low range (better than a Helleberg in my opinion) but is somewhat of a struggle up high. Which might be a better choice, the 18 or 24AW? Thanks for your opinions.
