The additives and dyes in processed foods are far more harmful to us than any chromium we may ingest. Besides, minerals like chromium and calcium are not digestible in elemental form -- they must be part of compounds that our bodies can absorb. One ought to fear Pop-Tarts and Twinkies and white bread, not chrome-plated mouthpieces.
