All through high school I played a Miraphone 186. When I came to college, I started playing on another 186. Then I tried a Yamaha 641 and loved it. It was so much more open and the intonation was a lot better. But then maybe it was a bad 186 vs. a good 641?
Anyhow, I'm now much happier with my PT-5 and my Yamaha YFB-621. I have no plans to ever sell my F.....only to get a larger one someday.....maybe a Meinl-Weston F....don't really like the B&S's.....(let the flames begin)
