Yes, I could make one of these, but I am LAZY and "busy", too. If you have an old double-spring-loaded centering device off of a Conn Connstellation "euphonium" or off a an old Reynolds upright tuba. I would like to buy the device.

These typically looked like skinny piston valve casings with a double spring-loaded shaft coming out of the top and out of the bottom. They were mounted between the two outside slide tubes of the main tuning slide, and held there by braces.

If you have one in your junk (band directors, repairmen, etc.) think up a price and e-mail me.

*************

I could also use a repairable Conn 20K or 38K (BIG collar size) metal sousaphone bell section. (Same drill: E-mail me with a price :-)

Thanks,

Joe
