Yes, it's possible to export MIDI and then import into another package. But you get just the bare notes; you lose all formatting (slurs, accents, key signatures, dynamic markings, annotation, etc.). And you get what the MIDI import program can guess about the notes--tuplets often don't come through correctly. It's a big bother to fix everything and insert all the needed formatting information, but sometimes it's the only way. It's too bad that Coda decided to leave the NIFF standards consortium or we might have had a prayer at interchange between the various packages.
