I'm using a cornet MP now, and am aware of the french horn adapter, but I want the larger mellophone MP. An alto MP (VERY slightly larger shank but same bowl & rim) would be fine, but I've been to every music store in the area and no one has mellophone OR alto horn pieces. Osmun sells them for $20 + $5 S&H when they have them, but they don't right now. Other online dealers are just more than I'm willing to pay when I CAN use the cornet MP.
