I agree with you man. There is a time and place for everything(read Ecclessiastes in THE BIBLE for reference). I may not have spelled that right since I didn't have one handy, sorry. Anyway, they take things a little too far from what you've said. It is detrimental to the image we struggle so hard to maintain. Bad enough they think we're all drunks or "band nerds"(at least where I come from). I find behaviour of that sort, humourous or not, a little offensive as well.
I guess as human beings, though, we do things in college we will regret and should all look before we leap. A little forgiveness will cover many offenses. Had I known it would make any sparks, I wouldn't have asked anything about the band.
