Did anyone in Ohio see the Cleveland Orchestra Concert in the restored Severance Hall? It was great. Ron Bishop sounded excellent on Die Meistersinger. There were a lot of close ups of him playing as well. Couldn't tell what kind of horn he was playing on. That is beside the point. The concert was taped by the Cleveland PBS station,WVIZ. It should be broadcast nationwide on other PBS stations in a few weeks (maybe more, I am not sure about the details). I recomend that you catch this. The music is great and the Severance Hall is gorgeous.
