For what it's worth and from experience, the best way to protect your HUGE investment is to keep it, all times when you are not playing it, IN A HARD CASE!!!!! No gig bag is going to protect this valuable instrument from anything more than a minor mishap!!! Just something to consider. Good luck with your new F, they are great horns.
