I have my horns (3) listed on my homeowners policy as "scheduled property", ask your agent about that. I have never been asked to verify the scheduled value, but I gave them the receipts when I bought them. Take a guess and go for it. You can always use a comparable horn listed on some for sale add or web site to support the value. Also, if you are a student, perhaps your parents can list it on their policy and you pay the premium. Last resort, get a renters policy and list them as "scheduled Property". Good luck. I use Liberty Mutual.
