Philip Jones has already been missed since the folding of the ensemble that bore his name, and the loss of PJBE recordings from the available catalog. Has ANY brass ensemble combined their overall virtuosity, intelligent musical taste, and at times, madcap humor? SOMEONE, go thou and do likewise!
