This going to sound weird, but with an old sousaphone I have I use automatic transmission fluid cut with Al Cass. My mixture is 1/3 tranny fluid to 2/3 Al Cass in one of the small bottles. It will be slightly gummy at first, but will loosen up with repeated use. Use once a day. Good Luck.
