Yes there is. 3 in 1 oil works very well. Radio Shack makes a light oil in a nifty needle point precision oiler. My favorite oil is Zebco or Abu-Garcia fishing reel oil. Both of these products also come in a small oiler and they are readily available in the sporting goods sections at discount stores like Wal-Mart. Best of all, they are cheap; about $2 for a tube.
Mirafone oil is very lightweight and probably won't help your older valved much. Be sure to oil only the exterior moving parts (linkages and rotor shafts) with the machine oil.
