Check out the Miraphone 181. I just bought one last summer and I'm very happy with it. It really has a nice voice. You can get a warm singing tone or an edgy, powerful brass sound. It has 6 valves, 5 on the right (including the thumb trigger) and one on the left. All these valves help tune the low register. Speaking of the low register, this horn has a huge bottom end. It is comperable with any BBb or CC I've heard. The WW&BW has it for around $5,200 w/out a case, but this is still a great price. Many companies out there make nice sounding horns, but they are very fragile. This one has a killer sound and is built like a tank. When I pick it up to play it just feels solid. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions just e-mail me, I would be happy to reply. The most important thing is for you to choose the right one for you. Good luck tuba hunting. Steve
