I haven't played the model that you're looking into, but just from the Amati's I've played, I'd say definately don't buy one. They don't cost much, but the flip side of that is that they are VERY cheaply made. After playing a Kalison for a couple months, I sat down with my school's Amati and it felt like I was being strangled. You can't blow enough air through it. ...Plus they dent EXTREMELY easily.
