Anon is absolutely correct about the grade thing. I know USC will be very hard to get into without excellent grades. You actually have to apply twice, to the university and also the School of Music, so if you get accepted to the School of Music but don't get into the university, you're out of luck. I've actually heard that SAT scores are around 1400 now for the average, but don't quote me on that. There is not a whole lot the School of Music can do for you if your grades don't cut it.
